boohoo = buuhuu!

So I was browsing the internet for some items to buy and I came across this website (which a lot of you probably already are familiar with). It's kind of like asos.com but with cheaper prices, which means that the majority of the items aren't very nice whereas ASOS have pretty smoking hot things. Anyways back to the point .. I was browsing around and came across two pairs of shoes that shocked me. I'll let the images below speak for themselves:

One word only: WOW! These are two of my absolute favourite shoes. I live, eat and sleep in my Military Boots and I'm still dreaming of the day I get my hands on the McQueen ones. So seeing something like this is just crazy. Hmm .. What to do? What to do? One fake one real? Naah .. NEVER! It's weird how some brands imitate eachother though, isn't it? And then they have the nerve to call it "inspiration". Well I bloody call it a rip off! Lol. But jokes aside, I'm not hating on this because they are popular shoes and will sell, copy or not. So for all of you that don't mind them .. happy shopping! :))

.. and gotta love the celebs for rocking it too

And over to a bigger shoe and real talk; we are kicking off with a new floor layout on Wednesday. With only 19 days left to Christmas we are refreshing the floor for all you lovely customers out there. So this means nightshift tomorrow again. But no worries because this is how fun we normally have on them:

happy birthday baby! ♥

Wicked night last night for my sisters 31st! Had a relaxing day of doing absolutely nothing .. then hit the mayhem @ Movida night club in central London. Music was awesome and everybody was in a good mood! We danced, danced, danced the night away and got to suffer for it this morning as it felt like I had been doing 10hr sessions at the gym. Haha .. It's all good though. After some nice chinese take away and some proper sleep I am as good as new. Almost .. :)

Some pics from last night:

And like promised I blung up (you probably can't say that) my nails with my new fav Barry M. :))

What do you guys think?

Anyways a big happy birthday in advance to my big sis .. On Tuesday we'll celebrate again! Yahoo!

Peace out / P. x

barry m is crackalackin.

A year and a half ago I was introduced to Minx, the nail foils that all the celebrities use (Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj etc.). Back then nowhere had them, so I had to buy them off eBay. Luckily for some, unlucky for me (since it is so common and boring now) you can get them everywhere on the high-street now, from Nail Rock and Cobella Salon in Selfridges to DIY ones in TopShop. Nail foils are great and add effects to your nails that normal nail polish can't do, but since you splash a good £35 to get a full set done, you intend to keep them on for at least 2 weeks.

Barry M has now come up with something maybe not just as cool, but still very fun. Saw the ad a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd try it.

After applying any colour of your choice you then apply one coat of Barry M Instant Effects nail paint. After a couple of second the coat starts cracking and, with the bottom colour appearing from in between the cracks, creates random patterns on your nails. I briefly tried it yesterday .. really frikkin cool!

Going out for my sisters birthday tonight and guess what I will be having on my nails? Damn right!

Pics will follow! / P. x

the ovid shoe.

Came across these a couple of weeks ago and didn't quite appreciate them until I tried them on today. The heel is out of transparent perspex giving the impression that you almost are tip-toeing. Pretty cool design I have to say.

Price tag: £175. Location: All Saints.

Do you like? Me like.

this. is. my. dream. bedroom. ♥

I have this perfect image of this perfect bedroom that I want to turn my little nest into. Although it is quite impossible to get it exactly like the one I have in my head, (as I would have had to build the whole house from foundation and up .. and it probably wouldn't be in London) I am constantly looking for items to complete my perfect bodouir. My personality is quite strong and I have a lot of specific interest, but I decided this time around that I wanted my bedroom to reflect the mood I would want to be in every night when I am in it, calm and relaxing and also very feminine.

The main colours I am using are white, washed out pinks and linen. I don't want to have a lot of colours in my room, especially no strong ones. I do have quite a few books on my shelves which definitly spoil the whole look of the room .. so I have decided to cover most of them in nice white paper and leave the original cover on the ones that go with the room. The titles I will be writing out by hand. I have also got a lot of candles all around my room to give it that extra glow and when I eventually decide to turn my lamp on the light will be streaming from my adorable chandelier. Think crystals, lace, baskets and elements of worn metal. Getting an idea? Well I'll make sure I take a proper photo when I am done .. but for now, come dream away with me:

Thank you IKEA .. I absolutely adore it ♥.

narnia.

So we all remember the amazingness of the fictional realm of the place where animals talk, magic is common and good vs evil right? Wasn't it amazing to see the children who walked into the closet and were presented with an unfolding new world on the other side? I most certainly know that I loved the film and all its beautiful scenarios and figures. Well the wait is over .. because the second film of the cronicles, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader., is due to be released on the 9th of December. Yay!

On the flip side, a.k.a the real world, I decided to sort out my wardrobe. As I have finally bought my new wardrobe (special thanks to my sister who purchased this amazing item for me) I raided through the boxes I have had sitting in the living room for the past 2 months (I know .. it's bad) and hung all of my precious clothes up. I am certain there isn't a world hiding behind all of my garments .. but at least it finally looks neat!

Have a good night! X / P.

i want to dance on the streets of paris.

I love photographs .. They are so still and silent, yet they spark so many emotions and bring back so many memories. I was going through my laptop and found my Paris folder. Last summer my friend from Japan decided to come and visit us in London and we all planned to take a short trip to Paris .. and I fell in love with the city. It's such a remarkable place .. the architecture, the restaurants .. everything is just 10/10. It gave me a desire to move to Paris for 6 months and do absolutely nothing. Just enjoy it .. maybe pick up some of my French, eat nice food, drink nice wine. The dream is still on hold .. but maybe someday it'll come true. We'll see ..

Here are some images:

From Paris with love .. X / P.
